Care Assistant
Starting on the frontline and learning what good care looks and feels like.
ABOUT CARENAV 360
CareNav 360 was founded on a simple belief: there is a better way to recruit for health and social care. Our approach is built on first-hand experience of care services, the people who lead them and the teams who make them work.
MY JOURNEY IN CARE
Starting on the frontline and learning what good care looks and feels like.
Taking on greater responsibility for teams, residents and day-to-day service delivery.
Leading care services and understanding the responsibilities and pressures of the role.
Supporting managers and services at a wider operational level.
Leading nationally across more than 1,100 beds and seeing the bigger operational picture.
REAL EXPERIENCE. REAL UNDERSTANDING.WHY I STARTED CARENAV 360
Having worked in care and progressed into senior operational leadership, I had experienced recruitment from the provider's side. I knew how frustrating it could be to receive CV after CV, only to find that the candidates did not meet the brief or were not right for the service.
I felt my rounded experience could bring something different. I understood how care homes operate, the pressures providers face and the responsibilities that come with managing a service. I had directly managed Registered Managers and understood what the role demands. I wanted to use that perspective to understand the whole requirement, connect with candidates and improve the recruitment experience for everyone involved.
Founding CareNav 360 also gives me the flexibility to offer a more personal, hands-on service — one where quality and suitability matter more than the number of CVs sent.
A PERSONAL SERVICE
I personally manage the recruitment process, from taking the vacancy brief and sourcing candidates through to interviewing, presenting the shortlist and following up after the placement. As CareNav 360 grows and colleagues support the work, I will retain overall oversight of the service and the standards we deliver.

We recruit across the care sector, from frontline care professionals to managers and senior operational leaders. Our operational background gives us a particular understanding of management and leadership appointments, while every vacancy receives a personal and considered approach.
Permanent recruitment across the UK. I support Care Assistants, Senior Care Assistants, Deputy Managers, Registered Managers, Home Managers, Regional Managers, Operations Managers and senior operational leadership positions. Fixed-term recruitment is also available.
We take time to understand the job description, service, team, challenges and what the provider genuinely needs — not just the job title.
Our interviews explore the candidate against the brief, including experience, qualifications, leadership style and values, alongside scenario-based questions. Qualifications matter, but practical experience, judgement and the ability to do the job matter too.
We provide a detailed candidate brief mapped against the vacancy, highlighting relevant experience and strengths so the provider has more than a CV to consider.
A THOROUGH HANDOVER
We prepare an employment file with relevant information and documents, which may include references, right-to-work documentation, qualifications and training details, and DBS information where available. If a candidate does not have an appropriate existing DBS, the provider will need to arrange the required application. The provider remains responsible for checking and verifying documents and completing any outstanding pre-employment checks before employment begins. We are happy to hand over the file in the format that best suits the provider.
Our support does not stop when someone starts. We stay on hand for both the provider and candidate and follow up to see how the placement is going, helping to keep communication open on both sides.
We don't believe in simply filling vacancies. We want to make thoughtful introductions that work for the provider, the candidate and, ultimately, the people receiving care.
